She is my syntactic yin &
yang
     My alpha &
     omega
Her womb incubates my innermost thoughts
It is the tomb which inters my soul
     Her body is wholly balanced
It is my shelter for dissymmetry
Her perfectly formed ( &
an equal and opposite )
     We are contradictory &
     we are complimentary
We are an endless cycle of polar opposites
Our dynamic forms balance as we become one
I create her, and use her to create
     She completes my conceptual continuity
Within her, I have nothing to hide &
i have everything to lose
We exert mutual dominion over each other &
     we maintain perpetual balance
Dark &
Light
     Fire &
     Water
Joy &
Sorrow
     Love &
     Hate
Sun &
Moon
     Heaven &
     Earth
Life &
Death
Together, we are mutual portions of the whole
Within her walls, my spirit lay bare
We are diametrically adverse
Two congruent bodies of exact phenomenon
     We are distinctive &
     we are identical
Her body is an interruption &
an explanation of meaning
     Her ideas are independent
     Yet dependent upon subject matter
She is not connected to primary thought
Yet she does not negatively affect it
     She shares,
     clarifies,
     qualifies,
     compliments,
     supplements,
     digresses,
     amplifies
I fill her spaciousness
She consummates my spirit
My emotions, and expressions enter her
Together, we climax onto the page
Two paradoxical &
competing forces of nature
     Forever bonding &
     completing a semantic dynamic
My yin &
yang
My alpha &
omega
     My perfectly balanced passion
     My (       )

Prism of Shadows

Prism of Shadows

The American Dream became a nightmare

I lost my soul to the darkness

I struggled to get it back

I had seen the Light, it had not seen me

40 days & 40 nights, I drove the back-roads

with Lightnin’ & the Wolf

True believers on a lost highway

200 miles per hour in the passing lane

one foot on the gas and one on the brake

We flew through gaps in the raindrops

A race from reality, a surge to the light

through the prism of shadows

The wrong decision for the right reason

The signs along the roadside read:

      Freedom Isn’t Free

     Obey Your Corporate Masters

     Who’s Watching Big Brother?

There are Liars, Damn Liars, and Politicians

     Wal-Mart™ Died for Your Sins

     Beware of Dogma

     The Meek Shall Inherit $hit

Nothing to Hide = Everything to Lose

The Protector Has Become the Enemy

It Takes a Village to Raze a Village

There’s No Crime Like a War Crime

     The Revolution Will Be Televised

     …and Injustice for All!

Erozeno, Spoken word poetry, poetry, avant garde poet

South of Eden, I stopped for the Sorceress

An electric raven-haired enchantress

with a heart of passion and apocalyptic fire in her veins

Her glistening eyes illuminated the twilight

Daughter of Eros, disciple of Sappho

She exerted dominion over the serpent

She broke the protracted silence

as she leaned to me and whispered in my ear:

To inherit the earth, one must pay the Devil his due

     You evade the Devil’s herd

the dead-end trail that knows no end

You flee the rivers which flow

with the blood of the damned

Where Satan’s noose tightens each day

and everyone has a rendezvous with death

     There is no turning back

     there is no escape

     Stay the course

     seek first the shadows

Find the light through the prism of shadows
